The Soccer Assist Academy are proud to announce our partnership with Newbury College; who will be our new education provider for the upcoming academic year of 2021/22.

There are a number of reasons why we felt it was important to create a new partnership for our education provider, one of the most important was to guarantee the security to our students during the completion of their qualification. Newbury College will be with us for the long haul and we are pleased to say that they will provide incredibly supportive tutors that will be there not only to teach but to help in any way possible.

By partnering with a new provider we will also be able to offer a wider range of courses in the upcoming years to cater to a wider range of players interests and career pathways. This will also help us expand our academy offering to a greater number of students, something we look forward to doing as we become more and more established in the Milton Keynes area. Like with our previous provider, the opportunity to resit Maths and English GCSEs is still an option and Newbury College has an incredible amount of resources available to achieve this.

Soccer Assist Academy director, Junior, has nothing but praise for our new partnership “I am so excited for Newbury College to come into our academy and be the new education provider. From speaking with Lee Hunt, the Vice Principal, I know Newbury will be more than just a provider and will assist us in achieving our vision. We here at the academy want to be able to cater to a wider range of individuals within the community and creating a partnership with Newbury College is going to allow us to do that. We can’t wait to see our students succeed not only on the field but in the classroom too.”

Lee Hunt, Vice Principal, Newbury College, commented: “Working in partnership with organisations such as Soccer Assist Academy enhances the opportunities for students across the country to focus on careers, not courses. It is important that we work together with specialist organisations to expand skillsets and link emerging young talent with employers from the world of sport and recreation to develop their employability skills and embed their knowledge.”

The programme is equivalent to 3 A-Levels and delivers a comprehensive insight across two years, developing knowledge and understanding in areas such as Sports Coaching, Anatomy and Physiology, Fitness Testing and Training, Sports Nutrition, Analysis of Sports Performance, Sports Injuries, Sports Massage, Sports Psychology and more.

We are excited to start the new academic year with Newbury College guiding our education side, we know that our students will thrive under their care and guidance.
