Each year we take our groups abroad to compete in international tournaments and run an annual event attracting over 50 American university coaches ready to recruit our students.

Academic Options

Soccer Assist Academy prides itself on offering the best on and off the field to ensure our students are equipped for life. Students can choose from an accredited BTEC Level 3 qualification or study an English Language course delivered by our partners English Language House.

BTEC Level 3

If you are enthusiastic about the development and analysis of physical activity and performance, a career in sport & exercise science could be perfect for you. This vocational course explores different areas of employment in the sports sector but focuses on sports science. It offers a solid foundation in the various aspects of sport, enabling you to develop the skills necessary for gaining employment in the sports sector or progressing into Higher Education.

English Language

General English classes will help to improve a students’ all round ability in English. These classes will provide a balance of practice in reading, writing, listening and speaking skills and will also cover grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. A course book may be used which students will need to buy. The lessons are tailored to the students individual needs to ensure by course completion students will feel confident and competent when speaking English.

Life with the academy

At the Soccer Assist Academy our students have the option of two different types of accommodation depending on the course and length they’re staying with us for.

Homestay

For the students who choose our BTEC & Football option, they will be paired with a homestay family throughout the duration of their stay.

Students live with a local English-speaking host in their home. The host provides accommodation, together with breakfast and evening meal each day, plus lunch on Saturday and Sunday. A homestay does not necessarily mean father, mother and children – there is a diverse range of homestay providers.

Milton Keynes Housing Options

We offer three types of housing options in Milton Keynes. For U18’s you will be based at one of our homestay families throughout the duration of your course. You will be provided with 3 meals per day and have access to local amenities including weekend activities.

For students 18+ you can choose between a homestay family, shared serviced accommodation or stay in our partner hotel (taster weeks only).

Based in the heart of Milton Keynes, the boarding option comes equipped with a TV, wi-fi, games console and shared kitchen amenities including cookers, microwaves, fridge/ freezers, kettles and storage space.

Grid City

Milton Keynes is based in the South East of England, situated 30 mins from London and over 60 mins from Birmingham and Manchester via train – it is a great location for sightseeing and easy access.

Nicknamed MK, the grid city is mostly known for the large number of roundabouts throughout and is a true sporting hotbed, most recently being named the 2020 European city of sport.

The city hosts two professional sports teams; MK Dons in the English Football League One and the MK lightning Ice Hockey team. Alongside this, there are plenty of things to do, from water sports at Willen Lake, a shopping centre filled with your favourite brands and a number of restaurants to fill your appetite – there is always something to do.

Safety First

Ensuring student safety and welfare is of the highest importance for Soccer Assist Academy. As a provider that has been working with students since 2014, we are sufficiently staffed to ensure the best pastoral care is provided.

We do suggest that parents take out private medical insurance to cover any major health issues.

The Academy staff all have Criminal Record Checks (CRC’s) and hold minimum requirements of the FA Emergency Aid & Safeguarding certificates. Lastly, students will benefit from access to a full-time sports therapist who can help with any injuries or rehabilitation needs.
